GFCO is a top certification program for the verification of quality, integrity, and purity of gluten-free products. A program of the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG), it inspects both products and manufacturing facilities for gluten GFCO tests foods to make sure they contain less than 10 ppm of gluten. Most GFCO certified foods test much lower, however, with many having zero detectable gluten.

Our logo is a registered trademark for products that do not contain animal products or by-products and that have not been tested on animals.

The seal means that the certified product or ingredient was produced using methods that support the three pillars of sustainability: social, economic, and environmental. Independent, third-party auditors—critical to the integrity of any certification program—evaluate farmers against requirements in all three areas before awarding or renewing certification.

Certified Organic requires that 95 to 99 percent of the ingredients follow the rules. -- Plants cannot be grown with synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, genetic modification, irradiation or sewage sludge. -- Animals must be raised exclusively on organic feed, have access to the outdoors, and cannot be given antimicrobial drugs or hormones. -- Producers will be inspected to make sure these practices are being followed to the letter.
